Influences of Improper Operation of Vacuum Drying Oven on Test
The vacuum drying oven is a traditional drying device, and the inside of the oven is divided into several layers by heating plates. The vacuum drying oven uses the actual temperature sensed by the temperature sensor located in the oven to control the heater's work through a microcomputer to reach the required temperature. Vacuum drying ovens are widely used in the electronics and chemical industries, and are especially suitable for fast and efficient drying of heat-sensitive, easily decomposable, easily oxidized substances and objects with complex components.
The vacuum drying oven is designed and manufactured according to the common requirements of different needs of users. As we all know, the vacuum drying oven should be vacuumed first and then heated during use. So, if we do a wrong operation by heating first and then vacuuming, what impact will it have on the equipment?
I. If operate according to the procedure of heating first and then vacuuming, the heat will inevitably be carried to the vacuum pump when the heated air is pumped out by the vacuum pump, which will cause the vacuum pump to rise too high in temperature. As a result, it may reduce the efficiency of the vacuum pump.
II. The heated gas is directed to the vacuum pressure gauge, and the vacuum pressure gauge will generate a temperature rise. If the temperature rise exceeds the specified operating temperature range of the vacuum pressure gauge, it may cause the vacuum pressure gauge to produce an indication error.
III. The work-piece is put into the vacuum drying oven and vacuumed with the purpose of extracting the gas components that can be extracted from the material of the work-piece. If heat first, the gas will expand when being heated. And the vacuum drying oven has a very good airtightness, so the great pressure generated by the expanding gas may burst the tempered glass of the observation window. This is a potential danger.
Therefore, the correct operation method is to vacuum first and then heat up. After the rated temperature is reached, if the vacuum degree is found to decrease, then conduct a suitable pump, which is helpful to prolong the service life of the equipment. If the vacuum drying oven is not used for a long time, neutral grease or petroleum jelly should be applied to the electroplated parts to prevent corrosion, and a plastic film dust cover is required, and it should be placed in a dry room to prevent the electric parts from being affected by moisture.
